Minor characters have more story involvement + More

Okay, so you have the PPG, Ben 10, Dexter, all the other FusionFall characters.. But then you have the characters you usually just get sidequests from. I.e. Gwen, Albedo, Kevin, some other PPG characters, Billy and Mandy, etc etc.
But I was thinking since this isn't going to 100% be just like the original FusionFall, we could change that around just a bit. Depending on which guide you choose, minor characters from that series the guide is in, or have relations to certain characters (Just like if you picked Dexter as a guide, Blossom would be one of his main squeezes in terms of missions. I think that was what it was like in the initial FusionFall game, but it's been so long that I forgot.) But if you picked Ben, you could talk to Gwen, Kevin, or Albedo a bit more often than you would if you picked Dexter as a guide.

Another suggestion I have is that we open up a few more guide paths. There could be the usual (Ben, Mojo, Dexter.. am I forgetting someone?) But to incorporate more characters into the game, there could be a Finn guide, maybe Grim or Mandy, and possibly one of the other Powerpuff Girls.

You are forgetting Edd. But also, many of those sidequests and characters actually led to bigger events. Like Gwen's main stuff actually led to some pretty crazy stuff and eventually led to you and Courage disabling the shields to Planet Fuse, which made it very vulnerable. Also, they had that 'main sqeeze' for your guide. And they changed as you progressed. For example, Blossom actually helped you for either Ben or Dexter missions (I don't remember XD) but then when you got to be a higher level, Hoss Delgado carried missions for Ben.

I had dexter for the longest time, so it's Blossom who helped him. I still think it wouldn't be too bad to change some of the story around, just to make some of those optional missions well.. required. Or at least some new story elements. The game was very vague in terms of storytelling, after all.

Yeah sorta like that special power the main hero (you) had. All we know about it is that it can activate totems. But where did it come from and why does the hero, and only the hero, have it? We need something to explain the whole scenario instead of leaving us with holes in the plot.

I feel like Buttercup would make a good guide, but in the original story you dont find her until you're like level 14 (or atleast I did) So maybe Mandark would make a good guide.

Yeah, I forgot about that! If they need any help with the story, I could give it a try. I can think of a few answers to how our character got that power.

Maybe it can unlock new weapons?

New weapons in general is a great idea.

I meant like there's missions where the special power unlocks special or limited items.

Yeah, I've suggested a couple new story lines, like some stuff having to do with the Tick from the older Ben 10 shows and stuff.
